Vacuum Oven
Using reduced pressure, the Gallenkamp Vacuum Oven allows heat-sensitive materials to be dried at low temperatures. Alternatively, more stable samples can be dried faster at higher temperatures without fan circulation.
This furnace is also particularly useful for heating under controlled atmosphere. Since the inner chamber is completely sealed, it may also be suitable for solvent removal, subject to adequate exhaust piping and ventilation conditions for the furnace and chamber respectively.
The vacuum counter is placed to show the vacuum drawn from 0 to 1000mbar. The furnace temperature is controlled by a direct read hydraulic thermostat rated in 10ºC increments from 30 to 200ºC.
