At the NanoTR-19 Conference, held on 2–5 July 2025 at METU, we were delighted to represent ODTÜ Central Laboratory (MERLAB). Our team had the opportunity to showcase MERLAB's research facilities, connect with colleagues from Türkiye and abroad, and explore exciting collaborations in nanoscience and nanotechnology. We sincerely thank everyone who visited our booth and engaged with us — we look forward to future projects and partnerships!

As part of the conference, the TÜBİTAK 1001 project "Development of Polymethyl Methacrylate Denture Base Materials with Enhanced Mechanical Strength and Long-Term Antifungal Property by Using Cellulose Nanocrystals and Porphyrins", led by Dr. Aysel Kızıltay at our institution, was presented by Dr. Kızıltay. The project explores innovative strategies to improve the durability and antifungal properties of dental materials.

The research team includes Dr. Tuğba Endoğan Tanır; Prof. Dr. Arzu Zeynep Yıldırım (Department of Prosthodontics, Faculty of Dentistry, Gazi University); Prof. Dr. Burcu Akata Kurç; and Dr. Pelin Paşabeyoğlu, who contributed through the TÜBİTAK 1001 project.

In addition, Dr. Pelin Paşabeyoğlu presented her independent research "Sustainable Zeolite Production via Solar Calcination of Kaolin and Halloysite: Structural Evolution, Phase Control, and CO₂ Adsorption Efficiency." This study introduces innovative approaches to eco-friendly material production.

We are proud to see our researchers contributing to scientific progress. Stay tuned for more updates on our projects!
